About the scep

Serving students in Caroline | Dorchester | Talbot

Founded in 2021, the SCEP is a free 4-week summer program that exposes middle and high school students from various populations in the rural part of Maryland to career tech programs and courses that lead to students becoming college and career ready.

The program is in partnership with the Mid-Shore Regional Council, PFC Coalition, PFC Black Chamber, Rural Maryland Council, Eastern Shore Entrepreneurship Center, and the Dorchester, Talbot, and Caroline County school systems.
